Scott Iowa Shotgun
Scott put the hammer on this low 150's 9 point on day 4 of IA's 1st shotgun season. Scott had passed numerous bucks at this point and was starting to regret passing on a couple good bucks from earlier in the hunt. Little did he know how fast his luck was about to change !! Scott had just gotten into a Hay Bale Blind for an afternoon sit over looking a standing bean field when this slammer stepped out cruising for does. Scott said there was a mad scramble in the blind as he wasn't expecting a giant to show up 5 min. after he closed the door on the blind. Scott finally managed to get his Browning shotgun out the window and tried to stop the buck with no luck. A 100 yard trotting shot is not easy but Scott was up to the task and anchored this stud after a couple shots. Congrats Scott on a beauty of a deer !!
